Small, Stocky, Correct, Attractive. These traits he gives to his foals. Indy's Pedigree includes PMF Bo Jackson, PMF Tina, and Circle C Little Motown. With six of Indy's foals on the ground and more on the way, we have to say we are extremely impressed with the beautiful straight legs, perfect bites, short stocky bodies and gorgeous heads that he is putting on his foals. We couldn't ask for any better! Way to go Indy!!

WOW!! This boy just continues to amaze us. He has been perfect in our eyes since day one as has never gone off of that perfection for even a day. He keeps getting stockier and I cannot find a single flaw in him no matter how hard I look. His color, conformation, disposition and size are impeccable, If he can pass this along to his offspring then we truly have all we can hope for in a jack. We are very proud of this gorgeous boy!!

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well this fine jack is worth a million. Not often do you come across a spotted donkey that has everything "right". Perfect legs with great bone, w-i-d-e chest and rear, square and compact body, lots of color, a great way of going, and a very attractive and short head with huge expressive eyes. Add to that a teddy bear personality and incredible presence. We had our eyes on this boy since we first saw him posted on Short Asset's website as a baby. Then we took a cross country road trip and saw him in person when he was 6 months old. We knew as soon as we saw him that he was the spotted jack we were looking for in our breeding program. We haven't regretted our decision and are continually amazed with this guy! We are expecting his first foals from a few select jennets in late Summer 2011. Be sure to check back with us and "Check Them out"!

"Wannabe Ranch Rainier"

Immature Black Jack, no Cross
DOB:
5/16/09
Height @ 2 years: 28¼"

Sire: Windcrest Little Dynamite, 32" Blk/Bwn
Grand Sire: Sunset Acres Hoops, 31 1/2" Black NLP
Grand Dam: Windcrest Little Gidget, 32" Black

Dam: Double D Queen of Hearts 31 1/2" Black
Grand Sire: Dewey Meadows Jackpot, 32" Black NLP
Grand Dam: McLeod's River Precious Gem, 33" Gray Dun

We purchased Rainier from Chris and Frank when he was just 2 weeks old. Then waited what seemed like forever until he was 6 months old to bring him home. All we could say was "WOW". How could such wonderful traits be in such a small package?? What an adorable little boy with such a nice wide chest and short stocky legs and the tiniest head with big beautiful eyes. And sweet as can be. Now as a two year old we are breeding him to a few select, small jennets. He has a great disposition and is easy to work with. Rainier gets stockier and more handsome every day and it is still packed into that compact and correct little body. He "WOWS" us so much that when Wannabe Ranch decided to retire from breeding donkeys several months ago we purchased his Dam who was expecting another little Rainier in March 2011. We also own 2 of his half sisters which tells you how we feel about his Sire's offspring!! Stay tuned in 2012 for Rainier's own offspring as we expect them to be outstanding as well.

Top Gun represents everything I want to see in my jacks. He is wide in the chest and rear, beautiful straight legs, short compact body, and neck of correct length and shape, a beautiful little head and a fantastic disposition. Add to that his short height and beautiful color and the fact that everytime I look at him I feel confident and proud in what I see in front of me. He is bred to Short Assets Seleese, a beautiful black and white spot for a September foal and I have people around the world already on a waiting list for this baby.
