Well this little boy was a real Christmas Surprise. His mother wasn't due to foal for a few weeks and had no bag yet. We were a bit worried at first but within a few days he was running all over the yard and kicking up his heels. And every night I carry him back to the barn with mom in tow. A friendly in your lap little boy and his mom is one of the sweetest girls I own. He has great conformation and an adoring way about him. He can be purchased as a gelding to be for 1,000. or as a jack for 2,000. or with his mother for 2,700. for the pair.

This little girl is Coalette's fifth foal. All have been girls so it seemed appropriate to name her Chanel No. 5. She is a real pistol and as correct and lovable as they come. Everyone who comes here wants to take her home. And I let a very persistent couple who bought 2 boys from me last summer talk me out of not only this beautiful girl but her gorgeous momma as well.

So what are the chances that after 2 1/2 months since the last foal was born, 3 foals are born on the same day?? The two boys were born within 10 minutes of each other. And it was my brother's birthday!! My brother's name is Daniel George so it only made sense to name these boys after him. Georgie is a stunning little jack. He has amazing "presence" and would make an excellent show boy. He is very correct and runs around with his beautiful head held up high. He "knows" he is special. He has become best friends with his pal Danny Boy and I will only sell them as a pair. Don't wait too long as these guys will sell fast. See our 'for sale' page for pricing.

Sire: Mossy Oak's Panache Aplenty, 27½" Black
Grand Sire: Mossy Oak's Turbo Charge, 31" Black

Dam: WLDF Charisa, 28½" Dark Brown Spotted
Grand Sire: Circle C Charisma, 30½" Brown
Grand Dam: Moe Moe Acres Picture Perfect, Dk Brn Spot

I was a nervous wreck waiting for this baby. Tiny first time momma and no sleep for me for days. My egg timer went off every hour and I still missed the beginning signs but at 4:15 a.m. I saw on my barn cam Charisa lying down and pushing. I ran out to the barn to find two tiny white hooves and the tiniest beautiful head already out. The next two pushes brought her all the way out and I was ecstatic at the sight of the most beautiful spotted foal. And I was literally jumping for joy when I noticed it was a girl. As my good friend and webmaster Dayle Haworth would say "Praise the Lord"!!! I cannot say enough about this tiny jennet foal. Beautiful big eyes, straight legs, good bone, sweet and funny personality. She carries on as if she owns the place. Which of course she does. No Andy Hearn of Australia, I am not ready to give her or her momma up. I have promised her she would be the first to be notified if I change my mind though.

DOB:

Birth Height: 19¾"

Sire: Mossy Oak's Hot Tamale, 30¼" Red
Grand Sire: Satroma Ranch Tomahawk, 31½" Dk Red

Dam: Mossy Oak's Spooktacular Sabrina, Black
Grand Sire: Dodge City's Giuseppe, Smoky Black,NLP
     Grand  Dam:
Arcadian Black Velvet, 33¼ True Black

Rizzie came out with one flopped forward ear so we could resist naming her accordingly. Her mother, Sabrina, was great with licking her off and nuzzling her, etc. But when it came time to nurse she wasn't so sure she wanted to be a mom. It took a few hours for her to give in and by that time Rizzie was so confused she didn't know where to nurse anymore. I was worried she wouldn't get her colostrum and since Sabrina let me milk her I did so and gave Rizzie milk in a bowl. After forcing Rizzie's mouth to the teat and squirting milk at her lips several times she finally figured it out. And she was so attached to me at that point I had to force myself to get out of the stall. Rizzie has perfect stovepipe legs and is very heavy boned. She has a gorgeous head and no matter how hard I look I cannot find a single flaw. Except of course her floppy ear. I almost wish it would stay that way but it is already getting straight. Sorry but this girl is not for sale. After all she is just Oh So Earrizzistable!!

     Grand Sire:

      Grand Dam:

We did not know Sydney was in foal and she kept getting bigger and bigger. Since we did not breed her to any jack we figured it must be Magic. We will be doing a DNA test on this little guy at 30 days old to see which of our jacks performed this trick. It may be Check Me Out as he puts this beautiful dished face on his foals. This is a very correct little boy and will do extremely well in the showring. He is very sweet and docile yet can play with the best of them when the other little boys get him going. Don't pass this guy up. He can be sold with his mother or with another little boy.

We will sell him either with his beautiful mother or pair him up with another adorable little boy. See our for sale page for pricing.

Grand  Dam: Pine Grove Farm Lollipop, 33¼" Dark Brown

Mossy Oak's Raisin' The Bar

I know there probably isn't a color called Mahogany Black but that is what he is. No cross and just beautiful. Tiniest little head and big kind eyes. His color with his curly coat reminded me of a raisin. But there are already jacks named Raisin Cain (a name I love) etc. So I thought about what would be fitting in line with my breeding program and goals and that is how I came up with his name. He is a real head turner and I know everyone who sees him will want to take him home. Tiny boy with excellent conformation and an endearing nature. And, of course, I want to keep him but we can't keep them all. Or can we???

Grand Dam: Li'l Angels Star of Hope, 32¾ Dark Brown

Yes, you are reading correctly. I had 2 little boys born Easter Sunday morning at exactly the same time. I had loads of names picked out for little Easter jennets and a few for Easter boys but after spending a few days around this one he pretty much named himself. No matter who it is or what they are wearing this little man will pull at your clothes and pick your pockets. He is a love machine and an absolutely stunning little jack. Nice long legs and a lot of presence and destined to be a performance donkey. Better get him quick before someone else does.

Dam: Wannabe Ranch Little Sheba, 31½" Black
Grand Sire: Windcrest Little Dynamite, 32" Black

Grand Dam: Berry Ridge Aspen, 32½" Brown

Here we go again. Another "perfect" little boy, small, stocky, square, with the straightest set of legs. I wish I could keep more jacks but as we all know there is only room for so many on each breeding farm. He is a real keeper and for someone looking for a great black herdsire with a great pedigree and super show presence here is your boy. He wraps himself around me like a half circle and comes running to love up to anyone who comes here. I cannot say enough about this boy. And I am a believer that most jacks should be gelded. But this boy is herdsire material all the way.

Grand Sire: Mossy Oak's Turbo Charge, Black
Grand Dam: Wannabe Ranch Sheba, 31½" Black w/Cross

Wow! This little girl has more energy than six donkeys put together. She is a real spit fire and races around the place so fast I can't even get her on video. She is a very nicely built jennet as well and will surely do well in the show ring and your breeding program. That is "if" you can talk me into selling her. Once I see what the rest of the foals on the way have to offer I might consider selling her. She is a real gem this one.

Grand Sire: DM Primo, 32" Dark Brown/White Spotted
Grand Dam: Gladybrooke Liberty, 30" Gray-Dun

"Gi Gi" as we call her is a furry bundle of love. She is a great start to our 2013 foaling season. It is exciting to get a gray donkey as most of us breeders have tried so hard to achieve all of the exotic colors and have forgotten how beautiful a dark gray donkey really is. She also has a lot of black and white accents which makes her truly unique. Gi Gi is very affectionate and willing to please and will make a wonderful addition to anyone's farm. She will be ready to go to her new home in July but if you twist my arm really hard you may be able to buy her adorable momma Josie along with her and take her home in April or May.
