"Mossy Oak's Little Bean"

Masked Spotted Jack
DOB:
11/09/18 @ 11am
Birth Height: 18"

Sire: Mossy Oak's Once in a Blue Moon,28" FFSW
Grand Sire: Short Asset's Check Me Out, 31" Dk Spot
     Grand Dam:Sweet Ass Angelica, 31" Brown/Roan

  Dam: Mossy Oak's Tootsie Pop, 31" Red/Brown
Grand Sire: Satroma Ranch Tomahawk, 31½" Dark Red
Grand  Dam: Pine Grove Farm Lollipop, 33¼" Dark Brown

Tootsie foaled 3 weeks early and had no milk yet. It was a frantic several hours getting her milk going and milking out other girls in the meantime to get him some nourishment. He nursed from momma too and apparantly received enough colostrum from her to achieve passive transfer of immunity. A few days later he went downhill for a bit. With our awesome team of vets and my awesome homecare (hehe) he was up and running in no time. And since then he is the fastest kid on the block. He thinks he runs the place. Friendly as can be and absolutely adorable. Sure to be a favorite around here. Pics coming soon!

Dam: HHAA Bumble Bee (Bumbles),30½" Red
Grand Sire: Windcrest Firefly, 30½" Dark Red w/Blaze
Grand Dam: Jalan's Morning Glow,, 30¾" Red

I always put my jennets who are close to foaling in the barn at night under the barn cam so I can keep a close watch and be present at the foaling. Well this year I have been fooled 3 times now. Bummble Bee had a small milk bag but nothing like it should have been the night before she foaled. I guess she wanted her space so held onto that milk until the last second. The next morning upon heading out with arms full of hay to feed the girls there was this little surprise waiting for me. All I could say was "Well Glory Bee'!!!!! Coming up with names is sometimes a challenge and with momma being Bummble Bee I had been thinking for weeks what name would work with that. As soon as I saw it was a little girl I realized I had already named her!!!! Glory is as cute as a button and friendly friendly friendly!!!! I would love to keep her but I can't keep them all. If you are looking for a gorgeous correct feisty friendly little jennet to add to your family then you have surely found her.

I have had a few breeders and several other customers waiting impatiently and hopefully for the arrival of this foal out of Seleese by Panache". Their prior foals speak for themselves. Breeders wanting a dark spot jack and others wanting a dark spot jennet. Well Seleese did not disappoint!!! This beautiful tiny boy is awesome!! Everything we could have hoped for. We have named him Troubadour which means a minstre; or singer of romantic ballads. Well what does a little breeding jack do?? Sings to his girls. Alot!! He will be offered for sale to the folks on my waiting list in the order of their request. He will make an awesome breeding jack with lots of dark spots and small donkeys in his family tree. Not to mention fantastic conformation all around.

My, oh my!!!!! This has been a very busy evening with 2 babies being born within an hour and a half!! This little gem was born with one floppy ear that was so earisistable I could hardly take it!! My webmaster, Dayle Haworth of Half Ass Acres, said I should name her Turn Signal which I have to admit was exactly what she looked like and is a very clever name! But two days later the ear was straight and the grandies have been begging me forever to name one Eeyore. And I promised if I ever had one with floppy ears I would. So Eeyora Belle it is! She is honestly the cutest, most correct, crazy little donkey I have ever seen!! I had no intentions of selling this girl but I was made an offer I could not refuse.

Sold!

Moony did it again!! What a handsome little boy he is. And in your face friendly. Sabrina was a bit overprotective for the first few days but this little man was determined to get hugs from all of us despite her. He reminds me of an ice cream or fancy coffee. So with the help of the grandkids we have named him MacFlurry. He has great conformation and a beautiful head. Would love to sell him with his new best friend Action Jackson. They will make an adorable pair for any family.

House full of company for family reunion and the timing could not have been better to welcome this adorable little donkey into the world. Running laps around the yard, running up to everyone here giving kisses and wrapping his body around us. Uber affectionate little guy will be a fantastic addition to any farm. You cannot go wrong with this perfectly put together baby. He has the heavy bone and perfect conformation of both of his parents. Not to mention that beautiful short head. We hoped all week while the grandies were visiting that Bon Bon would have her baby. But nope!!! She had her own plan. I had to take the kids back on this day and since she had white milk this morning I knew this would be it. I was gone for 5 hours and hoped and prayed she would foal with no problems or wait until I returned. My prayers were answered when I drove up and parked and she looked at me, plopped down and started having this baby. It was like she was saying "What took you so long mom?" And wow what a beautiful little jennet she delivered. All by herself with no problems. This little girl came out friendly and tries to climb all over me. She is a beautiful little thing and I wish I could keep her but I cannot keep them all. She will go fast as I have several people waiting for spotted girls.

My birthday surprise. Went out to feed in the early evening and Purdy was nowhere to be found. Went looking in the back acreage and there she was with this adorable little boy!! She barely had an udder so I hadn't brought her to the front. Well she had plenty of milk that day!!! He is a spunky adorable and very friendly little boy. He may be small but he keeps up with the other five babies who are older than he is. He loves everyone and everything!!! He can be sold with another youngster when he is weaned at 5 months of age.

Poppy was a gift from above sent by the angels just when I needed her most. My husband suffered a massive stroke a few days before and I had been at the hospital 24/7. I came home to sleep a bit and check on everyone and noticed Dolly was missing. I frantically went searching the back hill and there I found this beautiful little baby with her momma. A few minutes later I was told Chet had passed away. Dolly wasn't due for a few more weeks but this happened for a reason. She is a lovable little donkey and built like a tiny tank. Please don't even ask as she will never be for sale. We have named her Poppy as that is what the grandkids called Chet.

Grand  Dam: PDF Black Velvet, 28¾" True Black, no cross

Our first foal of 2018 and what a beautiful boy he is!! Rainy is a little teddy bear lap donkey and the spitting image of his sire, Moony. My mom calls him Mini Moony.  I really love this color in a donkey and he wears it very well. Everyone who visits falls madly in love with him but he sold within minutes of his long awaited birth. It started raining within minutes of his first steps so that helped us choose a name. He is a perfectly built little guy and was a loverboy from the first minute. Pictured here with his new owner Carla Sanjines Munoz.
